FA Q

We Know you have questions.
Here are some commonly asked questions that we have answered for you!

Like any other medical procedure we would confirm health information to ensure you are a fit for services. We will provide a health questionnaire during your consultation to further best treat you. A doctor’s note may be required for certain circumstances.

YES, I encourage having a consultation. It’s a great opportunity to inform you of the procedure and what to expect.  Consultations are complimentary.

I book by appointment and try to be accommodating to everyone’s schedule. I have hours available Tuesday through Saturday.

Generally, time is about 2 1/2 – 3 hour. Consultation, paperwork, numbing, procedure, aftercare instructions, after pictures and checking out.

Payment is due at time of visit and all sales are final, no refunds. However, we may payment plans. You can discuss details with Deborah.

I take every precaution during the process to keep your skin as calm as possible.  During the first week, your new cosmetics will go through stages of healing. First it gets darker, then flaky, then lighter and almost patchy or inconsistent. This is all addressed at your 7-week touch-up session.  Depending on your skin, you may experience more than what is typical.

Although everyone is different, most procedures are painless. To achieve this, I use a lidocaine cream before we start the procedure and also another lidocaine gel that will further numb you throughout the whole process.

After your initial appointment, we have a touch-up session at 7 weeks.  This is where we further enhance your cosmetic. Annual touch ups are suggested, although some may be ready to come sooner and some later.

I use a few different methods of measuring, called “Mapping”. This gives me placement of where your brows should be according to your bone structure. We both agree on our goal for shape desired and what we feel looks best for your features. As far as color, our goal is to match your natural brow color and what you’re attracted to as far as tone.

There are many factors that determine the longevity of your cosmetic. Skin type, texture, dry/oily, products and chemicals used, and sun exposure to name a few. Typically, we do an annual appointment 12-18 months.
